Janys Orelowitz’s area of specialty is Divorce Mediation, Case Management and drawing up of Parenting Plans.
In addition Janys also offers the following:
- Counseling of women in abusive relationships
- Couple counseling
- Individual adult therapy
- Divorce counseling and support
The unique skills combination of Social Work and Law, enhances Janys’ ability to offer an extra dimension of understanding and insight when assisting couples who are going through a divorce.
Janys’ passion lies in the best interests of the children and to this end she attempts to assist parents in constructive communication post divorce so as to be “Effective Parents Forever”.
Whilst practicing Social Work as well as having her own family, Janys studied Law and was admitted as an Attorney in 2004.She also trained as a Divorce Mediator with SAAM
(South African association of Mediators).
Janys is committed to ongoing study and knowledge enrichment in the field so as to provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date service to her clients.
With a wealth of Social Work experience, in addition to legal knowledge and practice, Janys is able to offer the full spectrum of services required in the divorce process.
